I have to report the following aerial attacks by enemy planes and damage sustained by the sailway on the 27th

and 29th instanti-

27th Jung.

Tin Tong Foi

Between 9.15 & 9.40 hours the ailway was raided by 5 enemy planes, when 10 bombs were dropped at the

following places:-

4 bombs at Em.117/14) without any damage to the Railway. 2 bombs at (m. 117/16)

3 bombs at 7.117/18

117/18′′ on the centre of up-crossing, making

a erster of 80' x 9' deep. 3 pairs of rails and 18 sleepers damaged. No.181 - 8 ft. arch culvert also slightly damaged.

bomb at E. 118/1 4 pairs of rails and 20 sleepers

damaged. Up outer-home signal post destroyed and a crater of 86' x 12' deep. All telegraph and telephone wires were broken.

CHSUNG BUK BOU & TIE NING WAI. Between 13.50 & 13.30 hours

the Railway was again raided by 3 enemy planes.

Henial staff quarter destroyed.

1 at m.118/0- One lesond Class Passenger Coath of ballast

28th June.

NAM EONG

Between 8.35 à 905 hours, 3 enemy planes

raided the Railway when 3 bombs were dropped at the following

places:-

$ bombs at Km. 27/13-14 - $ pairs of rails and 6 sleepers

damaged and signal wires destroyed. 8 eratera 5' x 6' deep and 8' x 10' deep.

8 bombs in the vicinity of station but without any damage to

the Railway.
